Manifesto:

桔本（Orange Gibbon）的會議設計（Meeting Design）是來自荷蘭與台灣的團隊，我們挑戰當前會議的現狀。

會議是即時的交流；我們提倡的會議文化崇尚人與人的互動、創造性、多元性和永續發展。我們慎選客戶，因為在合作的過程中我們將一同前行，讓會議達到更有效、更人性化、更行動導向、而且更讓人心動雀躍。

我們的客戶相信透過Meeting Design的參與貢獻，他們可以在永續發展指標（SDGs）上取得進展、有效管理會議品質，我們將會場視為心理化學的催化劑，關鍵在於與會者的經驗、與會者之間產生的化學變化。這也反映出我們所擁抱的價值—有用的觀點不一定只來自有權位的人，而是來自組織裡不同角色的成員。

Orange Gibbon團隊深信在人類所發明的眾多機制當中，會議是最有力量的一種，可以驅動社會、科技和經濟進步，為重大的挑戰找出解決之道。我們的任務就是開啟並充分發揮每一場會議的潛力與價值；從會議設計開始，找到會議的靈魂。

We challenge the status quo of current meeting practices. Meetings are live communication; they can be more effective, more human, more action-oriented and more exciting. Post-industrial meetings embody the dynamics of their Father and Mother: the classroom lecture and formalised governance gatherings. The parents have failed to breath healthy life in their offspring. Today’s meetings are boring, and they suffocate movement – whether physical or mental. The parents have taught a heritage of status differences and rules. These residues from the past should be replaced by well-structured co-operation, knowledge exchange and reciprocal curiosity. It is time for a new meeting culture that celebrates human interaction, creativity, diversity and sustainable progress. It is possible to achieve such a meeting culture by designing meetings, guided by the following principles – principles we apply every day in our design work.
