Meetings Create Momentum

We believe meetings are where organizations move forward.

Organizations don't change because people receive information.

Organizations change because people align, decide, and commit.

At Orange Gibbon, we’ve designed meetings for a wide variety of audiences worldwide, ensuring every participant leaves with a sense of value, connection, and purpose. Corporate, association, government, NGO - all our clients have benefited from working on their programmes with us.

Meeting design is not about decorations or logistics. It’s about:

Meeting Design System™

A human-centered methodology that transforms meetings into experiences that build relationships, activate participation, and generate meaningful outcomes.

Like a fern, every meeting grows from the learning, connections, and actions of previous meetings, creating continuous momentum overtime.

BANANA™ Framework

Six design actions for creating meetings that create momentum.

Great meetings don't happen by chance.
They are intentionally designed through six interconnected actions that transform meetings from information-sharing into momentum-building experiences.

Build around Purpose

Everything begins with purpose.

Before designing an agenda, selecting speakers, or choosing formats, we first define why this meeting deserves people's time.

Purpose is more than an objective.

It becomes the foundation for every design decision.

Activate Contributors

People are not passive audiences.

They are contributors.

Every participant brings knowledge, experience, perspectives, networks and ideas that can strengthen the meeting.

We call this mindset Contribience™.

Meeting Design intentionally unlocks the collective intelligence already in the room.

Nurture Networks

Knowledge creates understanding.

Relationships create momentum.

Networking shouldn't be left to chance.

It should be intentionally designed throughout the participant journey. Connections made during a meeting often become its most valuable long-term outcome.

Activate Participation

People remember what they experience.

Participation is not one workshop or one Q&A session. It is a design principle embedded throughout the meeting. Every format should invite participants to think, discuss, decide, create or reflect. Participation transforms information into ownership.

Navigate the Narrative

Meetings are not schedules.

They are journeys.

Every session should build on the previous one, creating curiosity, understanding and momentum.

Rather than isolated presentations, participants experience one coherent story.

Accelerate Action

A meeting is successful when momentum continues afterwards.

Ideas become actions.

Actions become collaborations.

Collaborations become community.

Every meeting should intentionally create the next meeting.

Meeting Design Process™

Most conferences are designed around agendas, speakers, and logistics.

We design around people.

At Orange Gibbon, we see conferences as more than a platform for delivering information. We see them as opportunities to build understanding, strengthen communities, and create momentum for meaningful action. Our Meeting Design Process™ is a human-centred methodology that transforms conferences from passive, presentation-based events into engaging experiences where participants actively contribute, connect, and move ideas forward together.

Rooted in Dutch design thinking and built on our Meeting Design System™, the process guides every project from initial discovery to measurable outcomes. Rather than focusing only on content, we design the entire conference experience—including programme flow, participant interaction, use of space, speaker preparation, facilitation, and follow-up engagement.

The process follows five interconnected phases:

Underlying every stage is our belief in Serious Fun:

the idea that conferences can address complex and high-stakes topics while remaining engaging, memorable, and deeply human.

Because when people enjoy the experience, they participate more actively, contribute more openly, and stay connected long after the event has ended.

That is how meetings create momentum.

Our 3E Framework™

Part of our Meeting Design System™, first introduced by Orange Gibbon to evaluate meeting quality through 3E - Effectiveness, Efficiency, and Energy.

01
Effectiveness

The meeting achieves clearly stated goals and produces actionable outcomes.

02
Efficiency

These outcomes are achieved making the best possible use of the resources available.

03
Energy

The participants, including content experts, contribute to the outcomes in a well-structured process that engages everyone thanks to inclusive formats.

We call meetings with the three Es #SeriousFun!

Serious work, on serious content, achieved thanks to an engaging, energizing environment.
